Beautiful Roses

So Friday was our 23rd Anniversary, I told myself weeks ago

I wasn’t buying nothing for my husband. Why ?

Cause after 23 years you realize you aren’t getting nothing so why bother.

Well of course I bought him something,  cause that is just the way I roll.

Friday hubby got home really late from work. I was pretty upset

I wanted to go out for dinner. We ended up ordering Pizza and hubby

was fast a sleep by 10.

Like every Saturday morning hubby goes to get his coffee.

He came home with 6 beautiful roses, and a card.

I was actually shocked.I have never in the 23 years received flowers.

They are so pretty.

The card that I received was sweet.

My card read,

Loving you on our Anniversary and Always
This day brings back memories
of all our years together
the joys and dreams,
the things that we’ve been through…
The world is very different now,
but time has never changed
the reasons I first fell
in love with you. .

    Awwww!!! congrats!!! I LOVE getting flowers, but unfortunately I can count on one hand how often I’ve gotten them in 9 years! ;) My Hubs even thinks that my WEDDING flowers should count as an instance of getting flowers! Happy Anniversary!
