My Heart is Broken Into Pieces
New, The Basket | Lisa | December 15, 2009 at 2:12 amMost of you know that I belong to an amazing group family Momdot. I will say today I was never prouder to be part of this group when I seen how everyone pulled together, cried together, prayer together.
We all got the heart breaking news this evening that one of the ladies Shellie, @military_mom from Blog4mom.com lost her son in a tragic drowning accident at her home. I can not put this in to words how I feel for her . What do I do , say sorry ! Say I know ?
Yes I,m truly sorry for her loss but what does sorry do. Say I know , I don’t know and I don’t think anyone will know what Shellie is going through. I do know is that I will hold her in my heart , pray for her family, be here if she needs to talk .
I didn’t know Shellie well , she happen to be the one running FNL the first night I called in and she was so sweet! Shellie connected me with my first PR!
I ask all my readers to please keep Shellie in your thoughts and prayers as she is going to need everyone in the days to come. I will let you all know if here is more that you all can do !

Lisa, can you please tell me how old Shellie’s child was? I’ve prayed for her and plan to continue but would like to know if the child was a baby? I went to her blog and got choked up reading her note to the media, “You do not know me us or him. You do not have the right to speak or type his name. He was better than you in every way.”
Those are the exact words I heard from my dear Molly’s mouth about her son Ryan’s death. The media are so disgusting. In fact, if there might be a connection between my friend and your friend, maybe we could facilitate that at some point. (If you want to know more about Molly, go to my Archives by Topic and scroll down to “Molly.” Most of the relevant posts are there.)
And, again, I’m sorry for your loss, too. I’ll keep you AND Shellie’s family in my prayers.

Shellie’s son was 2.5. Thanks so much for praying , we all are still praying for her and their family.
Beautiful Lisa! ((hugs))
That was a beautiful tribute and poem Lisa….
I’m still in shock. No parent should ever have to go through this.
This is just so sad! I can’t imagine the pain that she is going through. I am praying for her & her family.
I am so sorry!
